# How-To Add Vexcel WMTS to QGIS

## This article is for quickly adding the Vexcel WMTS feed into QGIS

#### Instructions

1. Start QGIS
2. Open Layer → Add Layer → Add WMS/WMTS Layer

3. Click New

4. Under Connection Details:
   
     1. Name: e.g., Vexcel WMTS
     2. URL: [https://api.vexcelgroup.com/v2/ortho/wmts](https://api.vexcelgroup.com/v2/ortho/wmts)
5. Switch to the Basic authentication tab
   
     1. Username: Email that you log into the Vexcel Viewer with
     2. Password: The Password that you created with your login for the Vexcel Viewer

If your login is currently set up to utilize **Federated Authentication (Single Sign On)** and you would like to utilize a password, please reach out to [support@vexcelgroup.com](mailto:support@vexcelgroup.com)

       6. Hit “OK” once complete

        7. Hit "Connect" with your new WMTS connection:

        8. You should now see the available layers in QGIS

**Available Layers will be dependent on users' access**

You can also see the layers in the main QGIS window under WMS/WMTS
